Swordtails With Jewel Cichlids

Can i keep swordtails with jewel cichlids.

maybe with one jewel but definitely not a pair

I have to get rid of those swordtails, nothing cool is compatible with them.
Are jewel cichlids easy to breed???
You must seprate them NOW before teh jewls kill the swordtails. I put 3 jewel fry only 3cms in with 4cm swordtail and black molies thinking jewels were just harmless babies. Jewel fry killed and ate my male swordtail in few days. With few rare exceptions, most cichlids are aggressive brutes. Swordtails are peaceful and fine with other livebearers like guppies, platy and mollies; small shoaing fish like tetra, etc. It's the jewels that are very aggressive. Mine are too young but I believe jewels are fairly easy to breed; likewise convict cichlids which are said to get on with jewels in a large tank

Jewels are worse than the convicts. I once kept a pair of firemouths with some swords. You could give that a go.

I will have to try that, i didn't even think about firemouths. I quit on the jewel cichlids, hard to sex and are evil
