Swordtail giving birth

My swordtail is giving birth...but the fry has been sitting half way out now for about 30-45 mins....I've never seen a fish give birth...so I have no idea if this is normal...I am kinda scared that the fry is dead or something....

Please don't panic....this sometimes happens. I watched my swordtail giving birth and this happened,then was followed by 3 popping out at once...... Congrats on your new fry!!

Oh chali thanks for replying!!

This is a first for me...all the other times my fish have given birth I've missed it. I'm so glad this is normal..now I can relax and enjoy the show . Ohhh so exciting

chali...it's been over 1 1/2 hours now...I am really worried!! How long did it take for your swordtail to push the stuck fry out??
