Swordtail fry...

Ive had my swordtail fry for coming up a month now and they are still very small, one of my mollies had some fry about 5 days ago and they are already much bigger... is this usual??!

Yeh mollie fry should be naturally bigger. but also you could be underfeeding the swordtail fry?

Molly fry will be bigger then Swordie fry, because Mollies ARE bigger. However, what are you keeping your Swordie fry in, and how often do you feed?

They are in a breeding box, and im feeding them liquidfry2 3 times a day

Okay, well, if they are a month old, they should probably be off Liquifry. I'd go over to fry food, and crushed up flakes now. Maybe some live BBS, if you can get it?

Also, how many fry do you have in the breeder box? That could be really limiting their growth...any other place you could put them? Do you have a small fry tank?

I have a small tank i could put them in, does it have to be heated? if so i cant use it

Yes, unless your house stays at a constant 75F. Couldn't you just go buy a heater, though? They have some special ones for small tanks.
