Hello Everyone, Just thought I would post couple pics of my tank setup.

rectangular aquarium 50 centimetres in length, 24 centimetres in width and 26 centimetres in depth, with the aquarium lights 30 centimetres above the substrate. bout 30 litres I think

6 Swordtail babies
6 White Molly babies

Java Fern, Java Moss
Lava Rock x 1
Other rocks X 2

Sorry bout the pic quality, going to get some advice on how to take good aquatic pics.

How often should I feed the little ones?? does more food = Faster growth rates??
I’m very conscious of not over stocking my tank.
Providing I don’t have any casualties I will have 12 fish in total (when fully grown)

I will then purchase new tank or reduce numbers.

Any advice or suggestions will be welcome.

;)

More light 24 hours a day, more heat 80f to 82f, then you can feed alittle more and that will make fry grow faster. But just over feeeding is not a good idea this will polute your water and kill your fish. I feed my fry 4 times in a 24hr time frame. For the first month to 6 weeks of life. Then 3 times in next month to 6 weeks, then I drop temp slowly, 10 hours light, and only feed once to twice a day.

Another note male swords will not do good living toghter. They will fight. And you got live breeders so not long you will have molly fry. Swords can take up to a year to start breeding but mollies start in just a few months after birth.
