Swollen eyes and body

Hi Guys,

Last week I did a partial water change on my tank (they same way I have done so for the last 10 years), I have 6 Fish in my tank and have had them for just over 10 years now.

One of my gold fish recently fell ill, he has swollen eyes (like air bubbles) and his body seems to be a little swollen on one side (with some scales sticking up slightly).

He seems to be eating ok and his dorsal fin isn't down, anyone know what this is and how I can help him to get better?.

From what you have described it sounds like the onset of dropsy, sadly there is no cure unless it is caused by a bacterial infection in which case Interpet #9 Anti Internal Bacteria may be able to help.

Have to agree. Sounds like possibly a mixture of popeye and dropsy. The above recommended medicine may be able to help. If it turns out to be popeye, jungle fizz fungus tabs can help with that.
