Sweet new tank!

Look at the awesome new tank I got! It's so weird! It's 8x8x21 tall....and going to be home to the new short-fin male I got today....I know, it looks like crap, but it will clean up nice and I will post a finished picture very soon.

Actually 55, I got it from the store....

As for being a custom, that's a fo sho...it has a solid 8x8 frame...I have never seen that before. I still don't really know how I want to decorate it yet....just has sand and plastic plants so far...

hiya, just seen the tank, very rare shape!! but i think it will work well with a short finned male!

who else are you planning on keeping in there to keep a male company ?


as for decoration, i usually decorate my tanks to contrast the colours of the fish in there.

what colour male are you going to home in there ?

That's for a betta, right? That's a lot of swimming from the bottom to the top to go up for air. I think you should make sure there are a lot of 'levels' of things in there to rest on so he doesn't need to go to the bottom just to relax.

I think u should put something else besides a betta in there. uve alredy got soo many! let the other people that go to the lfs have a chance to get a betta

That is a very interesting shape, But I agree there wil need to be lots of levels for a betta, Like 1 of those really tall plastic plants for him to rest on.
