Swapping From Juwel Internal To Tetratec Ex700

Hi All,

I'm afetr a bit of advice. I have a Juwel Rio 125 & want rid of the internal filter to free up some space. I have purchased a Tetratec EX700 external to use instead but I am wondering how best to make this change over??? Also, can i use my Juwel heater as a stand alone heater in the takk? Is there some sort of fixing device & will i need a heat guard of some sort for it??

u could either run the external along side the jewel 1 for 4-5 weeks or take all the media out of the internal and ram it into the external.

whoops i wrote in the wrong post.

However, I run a eheim 2215 along with the juwel internal and this way I have flow circulating in 2 directions around my tank and it keeps is very clean
