Why don't you try your poll in the new world chiclid section, I'm sure you'd get a better response. I didn't vote, don't know much about cichlids. I had rams but swapped them myself today because they were boring. I swapped 2 german blue rams for 4 von rio tetras. So far I'm happy with the swap. You gotta love a LFS that will swap.

I'd say that depends on the fish - some of mine are just a blast - I could watch them for hours. My Zebra Danios never stop movin and my Dwarf Gouarmis have an immense amount of personality. And I think you'll hear from da cichlid lovers that their fish can't be beat.

all my other fish arent boring......so i dont know how u can say they are....just these 4 african cichlids i got....which consist of 2 alto compressiceps.....1 jewel.....1 regal blue......all they really wanna do is sit in the same place all the time
