Sutible Critters?

I have a uncycled 40L which (excuse my maths) I think is 10.5 US Gallons and Rounded up is 9 UK Gallons.
I am going to do a Fishless cylce but i want to definatly know what fish I am going to get.
I want a communal tank as it is a small one.
I have come up with these fish....

5x Ghost Shrimp temp 21-27

1x Male Platy temp : 24.4-26.1
2x Female Platy


3x Pygmy cories temp : 22-26

1x Male Sparkling gouramies temp :25-26
2 x Female Sparkling gouramies

So the overall temp. I would need to keep my tank at to keep thse fish is 25 or 26 degrees C.

Is the amount of fish i am planning to get overstocking or understocking ( I didnt know how to put that << :l)

If it were me, I would go for either the platys or the sparkling gouramis. And then either the shrimp or the pygmy cories. 10 gal. isn't a lot of water. I would think both shrimp and cories is to many bottom feeders for a 10 gal.
Also, I don't know a lot about the sparkling gouramis. Don't know if they are as quarrelsome as some of the other gouramis.
I'm sure someone else on the forum will know about the gouramis.

Thats wierd cos for the Sparking gouramies TFF recomended them for small tanks :l
