Superworms?(Or Mealworms, Not Sure..)

I have been feeding my Senegal Bichir "superworms" for a couple of days now. He seems to like it and I haven't noticed anything unusual since I switched from earthworms. Anyone else using "superworms" as feeders?

Nope, but they are know to be high in fat content. I defiantly would not use them as a staple. Worms and chopped fish should be first IMO.

Good point. But I have been gutloading them with bananas and other high protein fruits. Oh, and my bichir stopped eating earthworms for some reason. I think he saves them for the bgk. I use prawn sinker pellets as a staple but I think its a bit small for him now.
