Im looking for a external filter for my 96 Litre tank & i found this one on a website for £40 comparing it to ehiem but cheaper :) just want to find out if they are any good?

I don't own one but in my last job we sold them.
I asked the supafish rep why they are so cheap and he told me that supafish are the parent company of one of the largest plastics manufactuers in Holland. Therefor they get the bodies and all other parts made a lot cheaper than say eheim (who have to subcontact the bodies etc) can.

Of all the ones sold the only problems we had was with impellors, but that is the same as with all cannisters,
after a time you'll neeed a new impellor.

Thanks for the info! They do look similar to the eheims though :good:

My sister has the Aqua-Pro2, it is very quiet and seems to do the job well. The only problem I had setting it up was that it was a complete pain to prime, it took ages before it would. :/

Build quality seems ok although I dont think it feels like a quality product as much as my Atman 3337 does.
