Hi all,
I have a Superfish Home 80 aquarium which has built-in LED bulbs in the hood. A number of them have stopped working completely and most are looking dim. Does anyone know if it’s possible to replace them? Google isn’t helping me and the manual doesn’t say anything. My concern is as they’re part of the hood, this might not be possible - in which case, how can I replace the lighting without ruining the look of the tank? Pics attached of the tank and bulbs. Thanks!

Can the section over the tank be removed or is it permanently attached? If it can be removed, there are over-the-tank lights which would work.

You can see on this pic how the lid forms part of the overall look of the tank. It’s a nice-looking tank but if I can’t replace bulbs, there’s a major flaw in it!

My husband always says he likes those tanks, but it's that top part that's always put me off them (I like things that can be replaced). I don't know what to suggest. I've had a look for spare parts but the light section doesn't seem to be replaceable :(

Oh no, that’s what I feared. Is there a thin lighting strip I could attach all the way along under the white hood maybe? I really don’t want to have to get a new tank :(

There are LEDs which attach with suckers, though these are intended as underwater lights. If you glued the suckers to the underside of the light bar, that could be an option.

Otherwise there's a 'contact us' on aquadistri's website, see what they can suggest https://aquadistri.com/contact/
