Yes re the tennis court. That was my dad's thing and the court was built at the same time the house was. I played for years until a shoulder injury mean I could not longer serve of hit overhead and I could no longer throw things. So I had to give up playing softball.
As a youngster i used to give beginner tennis lessons on that Court. but since neither my brother nor I play tennis, we are not willing to spend our budget for the house and property to be used for the court.
This place is expensive to maintain and had we not inherited it, we could no afford to buy it. But we can afford to live in it because we have two incomes and because we can each deduct the $10k limit as we file separately and own the property jointly.
But the absolute best part of where I live, in terms of keeping fish, is our well water. It is around 7.0 pH. It can vary between about 6.8 and 7.4. And the TDS have been anywhere from 53 to 115 ppm. Where is those ranges the water might be is influenced by rainfall and whether we have the aquifer filled or we are under drought conditions. I basically i have soft neutral water.
However, I tell folks that out well water apparently contain a fish aphrodisiac because of how many species have spawned in my tanks. Here is a list as best as can remember from the last 24+ years.
Catfish:
Plecos-> Hypanscistrus zebra, contradens, L236, L173, L450, L173b. P. compta. Assorted tank strains of bristlenose incl. super-red, albino. long fin,

Spawned but ate eggs-> Hoplisoma paleatum, Hoplisoma simile, Rineloricaria parva
