I started over and redid my tank after taking it down, and I really enjoy this new nymphaea bulb from Petco (only one of two bulbs sprouted, and it took several weeks to really start growing, the pack was around 5 dollars I believe)

ooh pretty! i want to try and grow normal lilies or lotuses in the fish tank, but they will probably take over the surface

too much hornwort stopping the lily leaves from making it to the surface

My Clown Loaches make Swiss cheese out of the foliage- yet,they never touched Tiger Lotus foliage.
