sumped tank and co2

as title im in the transition of switching from marines to a planted tank looking possibly at a co2 set up what i wanted to know is where would i put the diffuser? im guessing into the sump?

I'd put it in the tank personally, you're going to lose a lot of CO2 if you use a sump as the increased water agitation will drive off the CO2

thanks stand by exactly how time consuming is it gonna be using co2? i left marines as i didnt have the time due to work ( but i was doing zeovit which is pretty time consuming )
