Sump Plan

Please can you let me know your thoughts on the following design for my 10G (18"x12"x12") sump:

I'd appreciate your thoughts on whether this would work and whether the water flow would be correct.

I have this doodle that i did and now have addid sizes to it

It's a 20"x12"x12"

The skimmer section is 6"x12"

Heater section is 3"x12"

fuge is 7"x12"

two baffles @ 1"x12" each then the return area is 2"x12", With a external pump ( I was advised to do this)

ther baffles are 1" above the bottem

You could increace the fuge area by using a external pump. And do away with the return area

If you want a good sump you could do much worse than copying the sump in the link below.

This chap has had this sump copied by a top manufacturer!!
