right some of you may remember me talking about a false back, and although it is an ok idea it takes up a fair bit of room tbh. soooo i was thinking if i got 6" pipe, cut teeth in it and put a pump in it and then fed that down into a small sump. there would also be another pump in the sump, using more lph (not too significant)
by the way the for the sump i would have to make an acrylic one. ive heard you cannot use silicone for this. if you cant then what can you use instead? (by the way id be using a pump to get the water out because im not comfortable drilling through my glass tank that cost like £80)
in the in tank pipe bit id use a pump with adjustable flow like the minijets so i can tune the in/out so the water level should stay constant without draining either tanks

impossible to mach pump speeds so even though they are close to the same gph the sump will over flow .

How big is you tank one thing you can do on small tanks is remove the back or side pain f glass and replace it with acrilic that is drilled super easy to do .
You could also use a weir google it.

If you want you could have a above tank sump, pump water up to sump and have it drain via gravity down but you still need to drill.

On a 10 gallon or less use the acrilic and on any thing biger use a weir or get a local glass shop to drill for you .

and if the glass shop messes up the drilling get all tery eyed (or if you got a sister or a friends sister let her get a tery eyed ) and say that you dont have any more money to spend on a new tank and that your nemo fish is going to die .

If that dous not work threatin to sue

and buy the way whats the coversion rate for US to UK

you mean USD to GBP? erm google it they have the exact figures. And my tank is 65 litres so i think thats 17.1711 us gallons. just a rough estimate
