Sump for 70 gallon tank

I'm planning to set up a 70 gallon freshwater tank, and since I want to minimize the amount of visible equipment in the tank, I plan on using a sump system to contain my CO2 diffuser and heater. The filter media will also be in the sump, eliminating the need for a seperate filter system.

Right now I'm figuring out what kind of container I'm going to use. Because of space limitations it must fit in a 16"X48" footprint.

What are the possibilitys for a cheap, fairly large container that is fish-safe and will fit in the limited space I have?

Go to walmart! They have tons of storage Rubbermaid containers, Im sure you can find one that is the right size!
