I really want to build my own Sump filter. If any one have some information / experience, I’m all ears! Please any thing will help!!
Thanks!

No personal experience but here is a page with links to loads of DIY projects for aquariums.....

I have loads of sump tank and they are really easy to set-up.

just drill a 1 1/2" hole through the base of the tank per 3000lph you want going throught the tank. then get a glass tank and partition it off with up and over weirs.

I can help you more if you tell me what size tank you want a sump for and what type of fish you want to have.

The tank is 272L, and it's a community tank. It looks to me as if a sump filter will be the best filter system for any tank.
Thanks for your help!

you will probably need one hole and a return pump rated at about 3000lph for that size of tank.
