I was sold 2 small plastic see through canistors:

1: Sulphur Balls

2: Arogonite

I was told if the water was passed through the sulphur then it passes through the arogonite this would produce calcium... but i thought suplhur would only reduce nitrates if mixed with ceramic and not arogonite, so now im very confused..

I ve been waiting and waiting for the calcium levels to rise, and not once since ive added these cansistors have seen any measurement in the slightest with nitrates.. so im guessing it prob does not produce calcium like i was told, but reduce nitrates instead. i`ll take 2 pics 2nite and add them later of what i was sold (at work at the mo)

It sounds more like a nitrate reducer to me. Calcium reactors usually incorperate CO2 alside a substrate to release calcium whereas SUlphur is usually used to reduce nitrates.
