ok so heres the deal i am sure many people have seen the new fantastic freshwater shrimps sold inside the uk
well basically i searched and searched for some but the only way i could find a way to get them is to order them direct from their source.
and to do this i would need to purchess in huge amounts which i just dont have the space for!

fortunately ive manged to get in touch with someone who could possibly send the a relatively small amount of shrimps. but the shipping is still my stumbling block, basically for 50 shrimps it would cost around 300 quid!
so heres my plan.

if anyone would be interested in joining myself on this venture then either leave a message here or contact me via pm!

here are some of the best looking well known sulawesi shrimp i can get, there are more but i think these are the most sort after ones.
another thing to note is that i dont think these shrimp have even had time to fully take hold of a name for the individual species so i will show the pictures i got from my source and which i think they correspond to ( these could possibly be wrong)

id be looking for around 10-15 GBP per shrimp just to break even. im not bothered about a profit i just want some of these wonderful shrimp!!!

heres the 3 i am thinking about getting

I wish i could join you in getting some but i'm so poor at the moment, I couldn't even afford another tank to keep them in :( Unless somebody wants to donate a tank and the cash for the shrimp i'm going to have to say no.

Good luck getting some though, I'll be interested in any babies they have :p

i saw them in the fish shop in london last a few weeks. about £7 each, all variations.

However, i did not buy any of them. because i was told they need soft buy alkaline water.

i already lost £200 in my high grade CRS, so do not want to risk any more

any chance u can remember the store name in london?

i was told they can breed in tanks, and someone seems already succeed.

But i will give it a little more time.

They definitely can, they just have a freshwater larval stage. They do not feed at this time, so you do not need to supply tiny foods. Eventually they metamorphose into shrimplets and start feeding like any normal baby shrimp.

They're pretty sensitive, so not many babies survive. But they can breed.
