Suitable shrimps

What species of shrimps can I keep with guppys?Can I keep shrimps with a high powered internal box filter?Will the shrimps harm my guppies or will my guppies harm my shrimps?I really need help!

eemmm i got a question too...i got guppies like dartan and some otos inside.can i put the same shrimps as u say?i dun have internal filter nor gravel in the tank but some plants and drift wood.is it ok?

I'd avoid fan shrimps if you aren't running a filter as they are filter feeders and sit in he current with their fans open to catch food. If you don't have a filter you could still have amano shrimp or ghost shrimp.
