Theyre not particularly rare, most decent shops have them in from time to time for around £20-£30 each

Just one would be best as your tank is not large enough to support a group of adults.

if you're gonna go for a dat than make sure its a coius microlepsis (the one in the link). there are 4 varietis i know of and some get a bit bigger.

i have been meaning to get another 2 sharks to make a resonable sized group and move the synos to the 50g but my loaches have had ich :(

that wouldnt last too long. its not exactly a big fish.

i would still go with the dat. theyre amazing fish and you wouldnt be sorry to get one. but beware they can eat pretty big fish in relation to their size. ive seen a 4" one take out a 3" feeder before

100 g tank = 2 x bala sharks + 2 x spotfin synodontis + 3 angels + 3 clown loach + 1 tyre track eel

I would have imagined that a Pantodon would be able to manage when pitted against those?I wouldn't have any of those down as vicious predators or anything.

my bad. i was thinking the BGK would go into the 100 as they get pretty big. those arent that aggressive but they have pretty big mouths

I second the ABF, I have two in my bichir tank. They are very interesting fish.
