dnt think i want many more fish i hav a 54 litre tank with

1 honey gourami
4 black widow tetra
2 black neon tetra
2 platys
2 zebra danio
1 pearl danio

not sure if i want any more but has anyone got any suggestions for fish that would go well and add a little more colour

Problem is, your tank is too small for the Danios as they are very active fish and the Tetra really ought to be in larger groups (6+). I'd remove the Danios and add some more Neons.

do u really think the tank aint big enough for the danios?
it ain a bda size and i know they active but they aint exactly large fish

Well it's probably on the brink to be honest, but again I think they like to be kept in groupsand you don't have that much space to play with if you go by the inch per gallon rule.

your tank is overstocked, 15 gallons is too small for danios but they will be fine, so just don't get anything else

rite ok thnx ppl
i need a bigger tank at some point, but they so damn expensive for a large one
and to be hoonest im a student and cant afford it

yea it can get expensive...the next time you CAN buy a tank, though, buy the biggest one you can afford, because you WILL want another one in the future ;)

yeah i mean when i bought my current tank it looked big to me and i thought there is no way i could want any larger
amd it was a reasonable deal, around £100 with all the equipment with it
but now i realise just how big an aquarium u really need
but at present i dnt even have space
this may sound stupid but i have seen pics of all these fantastic planted aquariums but they are all huge, do u think u can plant an aquarium of my size and make it look good??

you can plant just about any tank and make it great...i believe it is jimboo (i will look and make an edit after i post), has a 12 gallon that looks great....i have a 20 gallon planted tank and a 10gallon planted that both look nice and very natural, neither requiring much work....it is all about choosing the right plants...another user (i believe thapsus - agian i will look), has some smaller planted tanks that look amazing....gf225 has a 34 gallon tank that has gone through all different kinds of phases...that being said, if you have a look around the Planted Tank forum, you will learn a lot...it takes a little time and some money up front but it is worth it in the end
