Sudden Death!

Hi Everyone,

I woke up this morning to find my favorite goldfish dead. Reason unknown, looking at my tank you will say he was the healthies of the fish in my tank. He was find last night, eating and swimming like no tomorrow (how ironic) and today i woke up to find him dead. He was the most active goldfish in the tank, ate a lot and was the biggest. What would cause such a sudden death? I did a water test and everything was fine all the other goldfishes are alright and healthy. Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what might have happened.

How big is your tank how many goldfish do you have in it and what size are they.

70 Gallon tank,
7 fishes, 3 medium size, like 3 inches to 4, the rest are between 1-3 inches.

If the water and other fishes are ok, then sudden unexplained death can be caused by heart attack, stroke, or internal organ failure.
