I have one sucking loach and wanted to get 2 clown loaches, will they get on together? My sucking loach, Dotty can be very territorial, on a bad day (although my Golden Ram will keep her in check), she is about 3 inches long. I wanted to get a couple of Clowns, one because i like the look if them and also i wanted them in the tank to get rid of a few snails. Can only have a max of 2 as my tank is 100 lts.

Any views?

The clowns might not do as well if there are only two; you really only ger to see their full personality with 3 or more. And if your tank is only 100 liters and I did my calculations properly (I work better with gallons :) ), then you won't be able to keep the clowns in there for too long. Those clown loaches will probably get around 8-10 inches (20-25 cm), which is too big for 20-some gallons. I reccomend putting a group of 3 or more in a larger tank.

:)

appreciate your thoughts if my tank is to small and i can't get a bigger one (lack of sapce) any views on bristlenose catfish with a sucking loach. I wanted some more fish that are bottom dwellers.
