I have small gravel in my tank now, but i just dont really like how it looks. It doesnt look natural enough to suit me. I was wondering what other types of substrate i could use. I've never seen anything other than sand and gravel, and i dont know if sand would work. My cousin put sand in a couple of his african tanks and it looks really good but i dont think it would work with my fish : g. terror, red devil, jack, convicts. Could i use sand? if not is there any other options, or am i stuck with ugly brown gravel
