Hello everybody. I have a 10 gallon tank that is cycling and I really like corys. I was wondering if I could buy one. I hear a whole bunch of people who have only one of them. Also they have them on gravel. My gravel is soft and polished pebbles so I don't see it affecting them. I'm not doing this to be selfish. If its a bad idea I wont get one. I just want them to be okay.

Corys need to be minimum of 6,a solo cory would not be happy on its own,also corys prefer sand,and on personal experience i would only put dwarf/pygmy corys in a 10 gal tank.

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking of the Pygmys after I started this thread and they are only .99 cents each online. The shipping is 40.00 USD . I guess I'm not getting corys in this tank .
