Substrate

Posted this on the planted section, havent had a lot of luck so I thought I'd try here as well.

What substrates do people use with their puffers, I wanted a fairly heavily planted tank, away from gravel if I can. So really I need a substrate that will give good plant growth/rooting and won't pollute the water for the puffers.

Any ideas anyone???

try a clay based gravel or sand. either should be fine for puffers.

Okies cheers. When you say clay based, is that specialist from lfs or can get that at the local B&Q
