Substrate Question

does anyone have any experience with colombo flora base, as i am starting a new iwagumi using this as a substrate and would like to know if it produces ammonia for a fishless cycle as i already have another tank established and some old filter material sitting in the tank ready to go in and boost the cycle process. Thanks

I can't see any reason why it would, no. You would still need bottled ammonia.

Ps3Steveo is the one to ask as he has plenty of experiance with this substrate, I beleive it does leach Ammonia for a week or so therefore you could use it to kick start the cycle with your mature media.
