I changed my substrate today and I didn't do the best cleaning (It's winter and I had to do it in the laundry tub but I didn't want to clog the drain with sand)
And anyways it's been about an hour and the water has cleared up somewhat, but it's still pretty cloudy.
I was wondering if I could put the fish back in the tank even though tit's cloudy, they're pretty stressed out in the container i have them in... :p

I changed my substrate with the fish in the tank so it should be okay, unless ofc it looks like a glass of milk?
Only thing that'd be a problem with cloudy water would be oxygen levels, so i think?

Fish don't mind a bit of cloudiness. Water is rarely perfectly clear in nature. Pop them back in :)
