I just bought a load off ebay. Look pretty cool, look at my signature.

And your spelling is fine B)

ALL LED's are sealed, hence waterproof !!!!! Its the connections that arnt, they can be sealed with either self-amalgamating tape, superglue or an epoxy resin such as araldite.

They run on approx 2V DC (depends on colour) and can be run on a cheap power supply.
Personally I think disco lights should be left at the night club, but moonlights look quite good....
;)

rodders i quite like that but i was thinking of them at the bottom lokking up ...

thats for the info

I have 5 bottom up and 5 top down. I can turn each set on independantly.

Looks like a show on Broadway if you ask me. Each to his/her own.

Theres 5 leds facing bottom up and 5 top down. Bought off ebay.

Running off 1x ac/dc 12v power supply. All wired into a box with switches, so I can turn the top and bottom set of leds on/off independantly.

On the top there three on the front facing down and two at the back sides facing forward.
The bottom ones are placed in random areas facing on the wood etc....

Im soon to be adding cold cathode tubes to give a more constant blue and can use the LED's to highlight areas.

Like I said, the photo is slightly overexposed to show the blue up, but it isnt much darker.

I think its nice, but then each to their own. I dont expect everyone to like it, thats cool. How boring it'd be if we all did like the same stuff. B)

I think it looks awesome; I love how there are dark areas and other are like "hey, look at me!" It would really be something to watch the fish swim under light like this -.^ I've been meaning to try that cold cathode thing too; that would look really good with your setup.

I just finished a DIY night light LED project. I uses normal LEDs (not the in famously expensive "high power" LED's which give an unatural spotlight effect), and coated the connections with aquarium sealant. Theres 5 running in parralel off 2 AA's, I fitted a rheostat and a 630ma fuse onto the live incase of a short, although, at 3V, a short isn't a huge problem.

Thanks,
Chris
