Stupid Turtle

Is there any way I can get my turtle to catch the feeder guppy? What if the female gives birth, then will the turtle eat all the babies? I just don't want to female to give birth and the fry to take over the tank.

Why would you want a turtle to eat your guppy and post for help on the livebearer post Feed your turtle something else and be glad for the birth of new fish!!! We love our fry and are glad if they get away from the thousand that feed on them!!!! Take your turtle problems elsewhere

feeder guppies are fine to feed to your turtle... and he will catch them when he really wants to eat... in the mean time they will reproduce and you will ahve more and more of them.... migth want to consider raise a few for the little guy and then you wont ahve to go buy them at the store and risk disease ones feeding to your turtle. if you have cichlids they will eat them too.
