how do i get my background to stick on my tank i have tried wetting it like window tint and squegee iut the water but leaves ugly streaks.

I use clear packing tape and just tape it on the ends.

Most people just tape it onto the back of their aquarium glass. I have kept some on the inside however, i just taped it on the inside and the tap stayed.

Use Petrolium Jelly (vaseline)

you don't even have to tape it this way and the picture will be clear :)

you just have to put petrolium jelly all over the window and then stick the background. I used a credit card to get rid of air bubbles.

I've had it like this for like 2 months and it is still holding great!

I use cooking oil.....that spray on stuff....spray it all over the back of the sheet then it sticks like magic to the back of your tank.....

I have had mine like that for 6 monhts npow and looks good. I use a squigee to remove any air bubbles from time to time.

you're really going to need something to get it to stick on your glass if you want it to look good. Regular tape won't make it air tight..

anyway, you can try only tape but i've had no luck with that
i suggested vaseline earlier but i guess cooking spray would be good too
