Stupid Question About Reproducing Snails

I have read about snails that can reproduce by themselves. are there any that can not?

some can and some can't. pond snails for example, are hermaphroditics, wich means they can reproduce by themselves. on the other hand, apple snails, must have 2 snails to have eggs.

Some Thiarids parthenogenic, so they never breed and just produce offspring as clones from the mother. They are an exception in freshwater snails though, since all pretty much require 2 individuals to reproduce (with some exceptions where self-fertilization is possible under certain conditions). Even the hermaphroditic species generally require 2 individuals, one acting as a male and one acting as a female.
