I (FIANALLY) got some frozen blood worms today at my lfs. the product came in about 1cm cubes and I wasn't exactly sure if should thaw them (if so, how?) and I wasn't sure how large I should cut the pieces into. any help?

I plonk a cube into some tank water and they spoon them into the tank so I can regulate how much goes in.

I use 2 cubes (each cube is in 2 sections) for all my tanks, which is quite a lot. If it's just for your betta, then you'd be best cutting a bit off the cube.

Remember if it's not enough you can always add more, but it's harder to take back. ;)

i put them in a small cup of water for a couple of minutes or until they squish to the touch and then i just mush them into the tank and let the little finned piggies take over from there. :D

HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!

Even the more timid fish went bonkers! I cut a small piece of the cube and put in a little cup and fed it to them with an eye dropper. now they attack the dropper as soon as I place it in the tanks. it's hilarious!

I feed mysis shrimp which come in simlar packagin. I pretty much let the cube soften then drop it in the tank. it'll bob at the top for 1-2 mins while the gouramis munch at it then it hits the bottom where it's an all out feeding frenzy the cory's the loaches and the gouramis all converge and cow down. best 3 bux I ever spent for 32 cubes.
