Stupid Fluval 2 Plus!

Hi i hope u guys can help!!! I am getting very little flow from my fluval 2 plus, i have changed the media, i have taken the propeller out and washed it all even tried to take the damn thing apart!!! but even when the media is disconnected the flow from the head is pants!! any ideas guys? thanks

Not an air lock in it, is there? If you run it with the filter cartridge disconnected does the impeller spin round nice and fast or is it struggling a bit? Drop it in to the water without the cartridge fitted and see what the flow's like then.

I know it sounds obvious, but our 3 Plus had a flow regulator lever - I guess you've checked that?
