Finally, I managed to snap Scrooge while he wasn't looking :D

His barbels are almost 2" long as well!


Compare him to the pic I took of Whiskers last week:

Quite a difference considering they were both from the same batch and are both the same age (about 4 months old, i've had them for three months now). Scrooge is about 4" long overall, while Whiskers is only about 2 1/2 " long overall. See how big Scrooge is compared to Cajhones, my Albino Cory?
 
That's a nice looking fish, smegforbrains :wub:

He's not a Cory though, so even if this is an older thread, I'm going to move it to the right section. Perhaps other members will comment on it.
 
They are both small Platydoras armatulus (used to be called P. costatus, but costatus is actually a very different looking fish and not known in the aquarium trade). As you can see from the link, full size is about 8", but they are very slow growers and as you probably already know, very nocturnal.
Still, a great fish.
