Hi,
Ignore that previous post i have read about them more on the web not just in my fishy book and the book said they got to 2.8" but everywhere else says 12" +.
Thanks,

They have them on the stock list at Wildwoods at the moment. Can certainly get to more then 150mm/6".

Pretty but can be a nasty fish. Has a liking for nocturnal attacks on quiescent fish taking scales, sometimes eyes.

They're supposed to reach 6-8", never heard of them getting near 12" though. They are best kept with fish that aren't too aggressive at feeding time because they won't compete for food. They are known to nip at fins so keep them with fish that can stand up for themselves (such as NW cichlids, large tetras or barbs). They eat mostly plant matter and have small mouths so are ok with slightly smaller fish (such as 3" barbs). I've been researching them for quite a while now and waiting for one to pop up on our suppliers list so I can get one in for me :D Saw them in person once (I think they were in the $30 range) and they are really neat looking fish.
