Today when i was doing water changes, i decided to use my python on my betta tanks (2.5 gal) since i already had it out.

Would the water draining very quickly (say in 30 sec) wiht the fish still in the tank be stressful? I did add the water back slowly so there wouldn't be too much of a current from that.

i don't think it would be to stressful if you do it still, if you know what i mean like not moving the pipes around alot and trying to keep the surface still or hardly agitated. or you could do what i do which is placce a fish net in the water and syphon from that. That way it will kinda stay in the same place and when returning the current is broken :)
