I've had a problem with my danio for months now... a white growth on it's bottom lip that doesn't seem to get worse.
The strangest thing is i've read so many posts about the same thing, and all fish involved are never cured, they don't infect others and eventually die. So what is it???
It's probably too late for my fish now, after isolating him and treating him I decided to give up and just let him live the rest of his life. Now he's not eating
and sits at the bottom of the tank all day.
Not sure wether I should just put him out of his misery or just wait to see if he improves......He is an old man now as I have had him for over 2 years and he was fully grown when I got him!
He's had his mouth thing for about 6 months of that time too.
