Hi friends. I am writing about my female swordtail 1" long fish, the only survivor of my original 4 bought in February when this new hobby began. The swordtail has never given a FIN for any platty or molly in the tank. 
No interest or interaction whatsoever. However, when we added a Rosy Red Algae Eater, everything changed! 
These two are unseparable. They take turns chasing each other hour after hour. When they aren't playing TAG, they are dancing circles around each other, constantly. The swordtail never takes a rest, so I call it Energizer Bunny. The Algae Eater looks like he came from a Dr Seuss book, so I call it Dr. Seuss. This is an unexpected and very entertaining relationship to see! 
What do you think? Should we start planning a wedding?
