Strange Acting Shark

hey guys,

Recently brought a south American shark from my local pet store. Everything has been running smooth with it. Was mixing with the other fish well until today.

Its doesn't look heathly and is acting really strange. i've attached a video to see if anyone has any ideas.

Please help!

I have to another Fish type sharks in the tank and there action very strange aswell. One of them has little white spots on it..

I've Added some White spot treatment liqid to the tank.

You are posting in the wrong section mate. Should be in with the Tetra's and Barbs i think.

Unsure of an ID though.

Also, if you have dosed white spot treatment then ensure you have some kind of carbon to hand to place into your filter when you need to remove it.

What to do you mean by some kind of carbon? Sorry am still new to the fish game...

Really Difficult to take pictures. seem to be coming out all blured. The video gives you a idea of what its looks like...

They look similar to a shark i had called a Colombian shark.Try adding aquarium salt, because the Colombian sharks are Brackish which means they need some source of minimal salt. I found out the hard way when two 12 inchers died because of that exact reason.

Also, just do some research online I'm sure you'll find plenty of info.

agreed. Unfortunately, those guys get huge, and they are brackish water fish. they can't live long in fresh water conditions.
