Anyone else in the UK having some weird water fluctuations because of the storm?
My normal water ( Scotland) is ph<7 no nitrates (>5) rather soft and very stable. It's probably the best water I have had in the UK.
Tested the tank after a water change (20%) ph had shot up to 7.5, nitrates at 20ppm ( usually kept below 10), tested the tap water and its up at almost 8 and 40ppm nitrates!
I normally add more dechlorinator when It's heavy rainfall as I know the water companies add more stuff in during this time but this is the first time I have seen this in Scotland. I used to see fluctuations in parameters a lot in Plymouth as SWW were rubbish but never this high.
