Store To Be Aware Of!

ok so yesterday i had a full day off so i decided to tour the local pet stores... well i went to my local SUPERPETS and was astonished to find male bettas in an inch wide three inch long tank that was floating in the tank with other fish attatched to the side... they couldn't even turn around much less use thier fins! so i sat there and they all sat there like they were dead... i got so offended and i didn't know what to do... and the only betta tanks that they sold there at the right price were the LEE'S brand which is only a three inch upgrade from what they were housing thier fish in i was so hurting for these animals! I didnt know what to do or if i could o anything... I am only 16 and all i know is that all living things need more room than thier own hieght and width to move in... dunno just a concerned parent of four i guess.....

It is irritating to see that isn't it! Makes you wonder if the people that run these places are lacking common sense or if they just don't care.
