i quit this forum for quite awhile when people were complaining about too many people in the world and thinking a mouse in a hot fryer is humorous. Deanna do you ever delete especially unkind posts or going on about world
problems? if not deleted do you flag that post or is there a place on this website for that kind of thing? ie somewhere people who are only discussing aquatic things and don’t want to read those kinds of posts. thanks.

We normally lock such post and move them to junk. You can choose to ignore people that you don’t want to follow or unfollow a thread.

I totally agree. We have to stop the bickering. Honestly it’s not the end of the world if someone grows something differently. There is no right or wrong. There are so many variables.

I agree with what you say here, but I don't see how this is a problem that the people who get picked at should correct. It needs to be addressed by the people in authority, with transparency and fairness. Some folks simply HATE the idea that there's more than one way to reach an end, and their approach may not be as valuable as they themselves want to believe it is. It's a sickness that permeates nearly all social media platforms. I've experienced it myself and would have been perfectly happy if someone had addressed the issue before I got annoyed enough to retaliate.

I almost never get treated as a target of scorn or disrespect in person. It would be great if the same were true here.

I don't know if i can contribute to this discussion but to me nobody should put another person down on a forum, everyone carries different knowledge and experience and that should be shared what ever the level and sign off knowing you've helped someone the best you can possible and if it's wrong it's for a more experienced person to quote it and respond in a nice manner or don't respond at all.

We're adults not children in a playroom.

I agree with your sentiments but in response I have to say this should be the norm. It isn't, not in forum or in life in general. This is why there should be, and are, people charged with maintaining some degree of order. In the forum old days we used to call it aggressive moderation.

Hello there, I came back to this thread too go to a post and look at the first TFF posts and thread and when I found the thread I noticed there was a downwards arrow and -4 next to it? Does that mean that points have been given out?
