hey guys i got a 30 inch tank with about 110 leters of water in it, a marroon clown, a blue cromis and a coral banded shrimp. i was looking for some thing with a bit of colour and personality. what do ya recond would fit. i really like the butterflies some people say tanks too small some say they're fine. please help and happy new year.

Not enouigh room for anything else in that tank in my opinion. The maroon clown will be the ruler of the tank.

You are just about meeting your stocking limit already im afraid. Far too small for a butterfly fish also

Isnt it kinda mean to keep the blue chromis singly? I dont know jw

They do far better in shoals i must admit. I have 2 chromis at the moment and they stick closely together at all times. In the spring i want to increase this number and then they will really shine! Keeping them singly is possible but these are naturally shoaling fish so they will probably remain nervous and wont show their natural swimming habits.

Easily solved........just wait for the Boxer to get bigger and catch the Chromis napping, then get rid of the Boxer in frustration and get two chromis

I had 3 chromis until my CBS caught 1 sleeping in the sand under lots of LR rubble and snipped his tail off. the poor guy managed to live until i turned on the lights in the morning and saw half a fish swimming around before i went to work...when i came home he wuz no where to be found...I noticed my niger was chasing him around a bit before i left, hopefully he wuz finished off quickly and not panic stricken all day
