Its about 58ltrs I think.

Should be picking it up soon, I have 5k of live rock arriving tomorrow & will pick up a little more on Thursday.

I'm planning mainly soft corals, do you think I would have room in there for maybe 2 sexy shrimp, 1 peppermint & a few different snails & do you think there is room for one or two small fish eventually? What would you suggest?

Ideally I would like a little green goby, or something similar, plus one other, would that be ok for this size tank do you think?

p.s I know the tank has to cycle first, wont be adding anything for a while & then very slowly

edited to add: I have tried to look at some of the links in the sticky section at the top, but the one about fish seems to be broken

He contacted you then?
Thats good to hear.
Arn't these 48ltrs? Or am I wrong.
Wow, Jumping in marine with 2 tanks.

He did finally get in touch :good: Its 58ltr in size I think, thats what it says in all the info I can find, this is my instant fix while I get the other set up lol.

There are many processes and hurdles to get over before thinking about stocking, the farthest you should be thinking at the moment is testing and prospective CUC.
Take things slowly many many thoughts will enter your head before your ready for fish or corals....You'll see.

I know I wont be able to add anything yet & my test kits are on there way :good: but theres nothing wrong with forward planning is there? For example if there was a fish suggested which couldnt be kept with a particular shrimp or crab, I would rather know before I brought my CUC, or if that particular fish were a muncher of a particular coral?

I find that having a particular goal in mind helps me to research better at all the other steps along the way.

I have many sleepless hours every night nursing a teething baby, looking at potential corals, CUC & fish on the laptop is keeping me sane during those 2am vigils at the moment

 Well seeing that your constantly switched on to marines even whilst displaying your mothering instincts I don't suppose there's any harm in research.
Mind you don't burn out. Look forward to seeing you tank come to fruition.

Keeps me out of the biscuit tin in the middle of the night & much more productive lol.

As the great Bon Jovi once sang 'i'll live whilei'm alive & i'll sleep when i'm dead' lol. After 2 other sleep-phobic children i'm well practiced now, once this one starts school I will probably sleep for a year!
