So ive gone and upgraded to a 250ltr tank that will be arriving on saturday and i need some suggestions for stocking it. I have already some fish from a previous setup that i would like to go in there to, currently have on the stock list...

11 x Neon tetra
8 x Harlequin Rasbora
3 x Pebbled Cory
2 x German Blue Ram
2 x Bristlenose Plec

let me know what you think....thanks

Also this is a picture of the tank...

Does anyone know the model name? i think its a juwel by the look of it

250 is a nice size. I would add some centre-piece fish and add some more tetra / rasbora.
As for the center piece, maybe 2 silver dollars? i've never kept these myself, but i think they would look good (so long as they don't eat your smaller fish...)

As for the tank, im at work so cant see the pic so no help there... sorry!

thank you for your comments.

I was thinking a center piece fish would be cool, had my heart set on a CT betta for a while but im pretty sure the rams would have a problem with that. I was maybe thinking a pair of dwarf guarmis but im so not sure...

all suggestions welsome

for a 250l tank i would put in

15 harquline rasboras
10 rummynose tetras
8 corys any type (never any less the 6 cause they are social fish)
2 bristlenose plecs
2 Rams

you could also add a couple of centerpiece fish on top of that, Will look amazing with those fish and nicly planted with bogwood all around. What filtration are you going to use?

Silver Dollars need to be in groups of 5 they are shoaling fish not feature fish though a big group of them always looks great but I dont think suited to this tank.

I agree with Kevin about the numbers for the current fish though make sure you keep all the cory species the same species.

As for feature fish - in a 250 liter tank you have a lot of options though the small fish slightly limit you as to how big you can go with the fish.

Some orange thick lipped gourami would look good in that tank, get to a nice size and lots of colour would stick in the upper half of the tank in contrast to your rams. Some upside down catfish could be nice as well.

thanks for your suggestion i think i will up the harlequins as suggested and the corys and stick with the neons over the rummy nose...as for the couple of centerpiece fish im stuck and cant decide what to have??

The filteration system i will be using is the one that comes with the tank hence i need to know the tank model i guess
