I have a 10 gallon aquarium stocked with 5 tiger barbs and 2 albino corys. I would like to add a couple more tiger barbs. I'm new to the hobby and dont want to overstock so I am asking for your advice and maybe some of your experiences with tiger barbs in a 10g. Thanks a bunch.

how old is the tank? If its new, you really shouldnt add any more fish now. you should get another cory though. or two. and maybe one more tiger barb. theyre best kept in groups of 6.

Hi johnny...

Tiger barbs are great fish and as you already know are best kept in gropus of 5 or more...They are a fish that likes alot of swimming space and a 10 gal. while ok they really should be kept in something a little bigger. As wrs suggested i would get another piar of cories....make sure you keep on top of water changes as your tank will probably be overstocked when the fish get to full size...HIH
